OUR STORY

Anthony Burns, originally from Donegal, Ireland, relocated to England to pursue his passion for high-end painting. By the age of 21, he had gained experience working across England and settled in London, focusing on luxury residential projects. After four years in London, he sought new challenges and moved to New York. In 2013, Anthony joined Claddagh Painting, where he quickly became recognized for his skills. His career progressed as he developed expertise in various types of wall coverings.

In 2018, Anthony founded Indigo Interiors, and in 2020, he partnered with good friend and fellow Irish man Damien O'Connell who had honed his expertise at his own Tricolour Studio. Damien's passion for artisanal plaster allowed Indigo Interiors to expand its offerings to clients to include a wide range of interior finishes. With the combined knowledge of wallpaper, paint, and plaster, the company has since grown to employ 35 staff members and now collaborates with the city’s most high-end designers, developers, architects, and private clients.
